Not every project starts off smoothly—sometimes, we’re called in to fix what others couldn’t finish. That was the case here, where the original builders had dropped the ball on the framing, leading to serious structural concerns before they were ultimately removed from the project. Our goal was to salvage what we could, but much of the framing needed major modifications to ensure the deck was built safely and correctly. This meant rebuilding the stringers for the staircase, redoing all of the joists, and spinning multiple footings to bring everything back into proper alignment. Once the framing was secure and up to our standards, we moved on to the finishing touches. For the decking, we installed Trex composite boards, giving the homeowners a durable, long-lasting, and low-maintenance surface. To complete the look, we installed 4-inch Westbury railings, adding a sleek, modern touch that provides both safety and style. In the end, what started as a troubled build turned into a beautifully crafted, structurally sound deck—proof that when the right team steps in, a project can always be saved.
